"I used AIM because it was loaded onto my son's old computer, and I knew he had an account. Whith some difficulty, I was able to comunicate with him(actually he invited me into a chat). Once in, I found the service easy to use and it seemed to have some nice features, like attaching a file or a link. I had difficulty with the speed of the typing required, and the abreviations.
